Earlier this week, I had a spa day with girlfriends and we talked, of course, also about Relationships.
The one single NEED that prevailed above all else was
TO BE MET
To be met in heart
To be met in sex
To be met in emotions
To be met in differences
To be met in Light and Dark
To be met in TOTALITY.
Unconditionally.
Isn't it what we all deeply desire?
Just imagine being met on all levels by your beloved.
How does it feel in your cells?
In your heart?
In your sex?
And you know what... it's even possible!
If your partner is GOD/DESS itself.
But it's not possible for a Human.
Because Human is conditional.
Because Human is flawed.
Striving for Human perfection is futile.
This is exactly what makes us HUMAN.
The imperfection itself!
And it doesn't need to be any other way.
The degree to which I FELT TRULY MET in my life changed proportionally to the degree I allowed/invited the Divine to take over.
And it would all crumble when it was the Human in me grasping for love and understanding, or Human in me trying to meet another in their need for unconditional love.
In truth, we all deeply long to be met... by the ONE .
And the BELOVED is always here, also in the Beloved.
