Today I've been reading some very recent articles about abuse in the Tantra world, which made me sick. In the past year, some teachers, healers and organizations have been exposed.
Tantra is not Sex. The West made Sex out of it. You can practice and explore Tantra also without Sex. So, if you are part of any school that says you HAVE TO do Sex to practice Tantra, this is an alarming sign. If a Tantric healer tells you that it's good for you to have sex with him/her because they can transmit Kundalini awakening to you, this is an alarming sign.
I am not against Sex, but I'm against the misuse of Tantra as a gateway to sexual abuse.
As a leader of transformational processes in the area of intimacy and sexuality, one of the things I need to create for participants in the beginning of each process is Safety and Trust which is the foundation for any work to take place.
At the same time, I am also aware of the shadow side of Trust and Safety. It is when people switch off their own sanity and just trust blindly every word the leader says. It especially happens when people feel affinity and strong resonance with the leader or when they carry subconscious programs like “I’m not good enough” and thus give more importance to what the teacher says vs what is actually right/true for them.
Just because a leader said something that strongly resonated with you once, doesn't mean that all the other things they are saying are equally applicable or true for you too.
I see that it's every leader's responsibility to support people to always tap into their own truth and take responsibility for their own decisions and actions, motivating people to speak up their mind no matter what and keep their common sense alive.
No dogma is true. There is no just one right way. Deep inside we know what's true for us in each moment..
Trust Yourself.
No external authority will ever be wiser than your inner master.
And if you choose to follow any teacher or teaching, be aware to not outsource your power. Always remember that the biggest master was, is, and will always be that which is inside of You. 🙏
