We needed so little in the desert.
We slept under the stars, in warm sleeping bags but without roof. Facing the immensity of the sky day and night does something to your psyche.
We ate simple local veggies with legumes and drank tea with local herbs prepared on a fire. 🔥
We barely used any water except for drinking. Shower was not there, and yet the body felt clean.
Really... just back to basics. This is when we realize how little we actually need to live.
Now I am back at home and the days after Egypt I spent clearing the house from all the clutter. All rooms, all drawers, attic and cellar. Whoop! Feels so good!
And new warm colors are inspiring me to introduce at home - making it a beautiful and cozy nest. 🐚💗
Senses are amplified - BEAUTY is everywhere... unbelievable.
