You know what's my secret to getting things done without stress?
And I have a lot of things to get done these days!!
Prioritizing PLEASURE.
In the morning, I tune in and feel in my heart what I am inspired to create and get accomplished (I do it also often at the beginning of the week for the whole week). What is truly important for my heart?
I may write it down or not. I may draw an oracle card or not.
Whatever is needed to tune in deeper into myself to align with my natural flow.
And then I prioritize pleasure and take as much time as needed to nourish myself and to give myself that which I enjoy. Sometimes 1 hour is enough, sometimes three is not enough.
Often, it actually feels counterintuitive to give so much importance to pleasure while so many things need to get done. Yet, I smile, and stick to it anyway.
And you know what?
The rest of the day flows like liquid butter, with a big smile and an open heart, available for input from outside, and ready to respond in the moment. My concentration is higher, my breath is deeper. I enjoy every moment in the MOMENT. I am more available when I am with my daughter or with Dylan. I simply ENJOY life in this state - that's it. And most important, I feel deeply fulfilled at the end of the day, EVEN if not all the things I had envisioned got done (although, the opposite is usually the case!).
When I don't prioritize pleasure, I tend to become hectic, get into my head, and, as a result, feel stressed. I then also don't enjoy participating in life to the same degree and creation feels like pressure rather than joy.
My biggest source of pleasure nowadays is sensual self-touch and breathwork - oh boy, it takes me so deep into my body and to amazing places of expansion!
