I spent my first 20 years in Russia and the last 20 years in the West. I hold a double citizenship: Russian and Belgian. I have Ukrainian friends and some students.

Based on the above three lines of text, you might think you somewhat know me, you might project things on me, create assumptions, have expectations. However, what I did not write above is that none of it defines me.

In the last 24 hours, my private messenger has been flooded with links, video's, and excerpts from media from all possible sides.

I don't trust any media. Neither Russian, nor Western. Point.

What do I trust?

Heart.

Compassion.

Understanding.

Not knowing.

I trust the Not Knowing more than any knowing based on what is fed to us by mass media, similar to ducks force-fed with corn to grow their liver.

We assume media INFORMS us.

That's why we trust it.

Unfortunately, informing is not its purpose.

Big boys decide to engage in power games. They always did, and they always will. People have nothing to do with it, yet it is us, people, who suffer in the end. Big boys are safe and their families are secured. They don't loose their sons, daughters, fathers and mothers in these games. They don’t get less food on their table. People do.

Media is their tool to recruit us to serve their interests. Into their way of thinking, into an opinion, into a movement, into an action or counter-action. These guys know exactly which buttons to push to recruit its folk. Injustice, pain, fear, pity... you name it. Anything will go to get us going. Supported with visuals, true or false. They also often use media to entertain and engage us into something while their true focus lies on something else.

They recruit people both on the levels of survival and morality. The pyramid of Maslow is well known to them. They know exactly what you need and what gets you going.

Whether You will be recruited into serving THEM with your thought, word or deed OR NOT is up to You. You are FREE. You have a choice.

You are so free that you may even choose NOT to choose.

In the latter case, it doesn't mean that you are indifferent. It doesn't mean you don't act. But your action comes from a deeper knowing than what you are recruited into. Your action comes from seeing through these games, it comes from the depth of your heart and gut.

I feel, the biggest service to humanity each of us can do right now is to connect to ourSelves, our bodies, our souls, our intuition, and let our words and actions come from there, authentically and effortlessly. Such actions don't carry blame or aggression, they come from a centered space. It might feel lonely in the beginning, because there are a lot of people knowing exactly what they stand for and projecting a strong energy around them.

Let others do what they do.
